A buy-sell spread will also apply. This fee is incurred every time units in an investment option are bought and sold. See the Additional Explanation of Fees and Costs in the Reference Guide for more information.
These examples don’t include the extra reduction in fees from our loyalty discount program.
Fee cap for balances under $6,000.
By legislation, if your account balance at the end of the financial year is less than $6,000, fees relating to administration and investment are capped at 3% of your account balance. Any amount charged in excess of that cap will be refunded to your account.
Rewarding loyal members
We have a loyalty discount program that reduces fees for members who continue to contribute and stay with the fund.
You’ll automatically be enrolled in the program as soon as your balance reaches $1,000. As long as you remain a member of the Fund for the next 12 months, and receive a contribution to your account during this period, you will be eligible for the fee rebate. You will continue to be eligible for the fee rebate if you receive a contribution into your super account every 12 months.
Examples of eligible contributions include employer contributions, rollovers, government co-contributions and personal contributions.
You will continue to move up loyalty levels every 12 months but will only receive the loyalty fee rebate if you receive a contribution to your account in that period. The discount is calculated off your percentage-based administration fee and is paid as a refund at month end after the 12 month anniversary date.
